This is an inverted pendulum, a very basic example of an intelligent product. It balances by transferring angular momentum from the spinning reaction wheel to the frame with help from onboard sensors. The most crucial variables involved in this process can be viewed within this "Seeing Space" in real-time. Users can manipulate these variables, capture sensor data, and juxtapose results from different engineering focuses. More complex products, like cars, will occupy spaces similar to NASA’s Mission Control Center, run tests and populate screens with results. Future boardrooms will evolve into similar spaces, where information is dynamic and responsive.
