Vibration receptors in the body enable the sensory of touch. Magnifying the vibration felt during a touching interaction should give a perceived enhanced sense of touch. These gloves do just that. Each glove is wired with cellular phone vibration motors, their own batteries, and copper pads. When two people are wearing these gloves and shake hands the copper pads touch, the circuit becomes complete, and the vibrating motors are triggered. The motors are located near the inner wrist of each glove, the most sensitive part of the hand. More than anything, this Art School project helped teach me the art of story telling.
